Today was the final game of the 2006 Season, and what a game it was! It surely will go down as The Best Exhibition Kickball Game ever!! The Sporanos took on the Tenors in surprisingly nice weather and on a freshly leaf-raked field. The Sopranos took an early lead and shut out the Tenors for nearly half the game, aided by some new Kickballers (both a local and PST'er) and some great offense. The Tenors then began holding that potent offense to ~ a run per inning with some ball-catching defense, while mouting a comeback. The excitement was then pumped up for a bottom of the ninth rally, culminating in George's winning kick that scored the only magic runs of the game and the Tenors took the exhibition.

No one ended up hitting the multi-run "CAT SCRATCH WICKITT", but perhaps it will survive until next year's opening ceremonies/bench dedication.

See you in 2007 when the weather hits that magic kickball temperature!!
