Opening Day 2007!
Opening day dawned beautiful and hot. A crowd of kickballers gathered for the opening day festivities.
First, the unveiling and dedication of magic base!
Sixth grade kickball star, Doug, all the way from West Virginia, threw out the first pitch and the 2007 season was underway! A fierce game between Agent Orange and Code Red Cell followed. Agent Orange took a large early lead. But despite being down one player, Code Red Cell hung on and made a come back. The last several innings had the game too close to call with the lead changing hands several times. Warren arrived to even up the teams in the bottom of the 9th and made a huge catch in center field to clinch the game for Code Red Cell.
